You know you're in LA

- When the pavements are really underdeveloped and full of cracks (Nobody walks in LA)
- You're having a hard time finding a good e-cig, but you can buy drug paraphernalia everywhere...

I kinda like the city, grew on me (like a fungus maybe, ha ha) but it's almost like living in another universe, and don't get me started on the amount of grotesque surgery I've seen, nope, if you're 60 years old, no amount of surgery will make you look like a 16 year old barbie doll, on the other hand, I ventured into Skid Row by mistake, that was a shock, poverty, people shooting up in the street, urinating on the street, living in cardboard boxes, some of them talking to themselves or shouting angrily at nothing... An elderly woman who looked physically and mentally disabled hanging in a shopping cart like a ragdoll and somebody pushing her about...

So much fun...

So my vitamin D levels are sorted out and I feel like a changed person, bouncing energetic all over the place, currently in Down Town LA and exploring the city on inline skates... From the Art District to the Fashion District, and then I thought I would go back but my sense of direction is somewhat underdeveloped... 8 hours later and almost in tears, because some idiots sent me all over the place (why don't people just say "I don't know" instead of sending you in the wrong direction on a wild goose chase) I finally found back. Let me tell you LA pavements aren't meant for skaters ;) I do have the blisters to prove it...

That's how my socks looked when I got back, a bit sweaty.... Though somebody who I corresponded with a bit in the past has a fetish for stinky socks and is wearing a chastity device, had to promise him my sweaty socks since last time I really forgot, plus white socks look so much nastier when sweaty ;)

But on the other hand, so much fun, Mistress Tara asked me if I would train some of the new Mistresses and that is just too much fun. They are gorgeous (Jaqueline and Ruby, check them out, eye candy) and so enthusiastic. Spent ours of target practise and they almost wore me out...

That should keep my arms in shape ;) For the legs the skating really does wonders, though I got to watch that they aren't getting too muscular...

My doggies better watch out once I am back home, as those legs will walk them out... Actually missing my fur babies like crazy, the cats will possibly ignore me for a bit as punishment of leaving them yet again for a few months, but dogs have such an amazing way to show affection, so I guess I will be buried under 2 huge dobies each of them my size, with an attempt to lick me to death...

Anyway, I need to brag about my toned legs, HA!

I know I'm a show off, but trust me, my hamstrings let me know what I've done...

Sometimes....

Sometimes I am just so damned proud of my friends...

A wonderful friend of mine, Ginger, I stayed with her for quite a while when I was in NYC, she has a heart of gold and she's just wonderful, she had a terrible shock today. A person she was looking after, who had a long drawn out illness died today, in her arms, it was what he would have wanted, he went quick, he left knowing he was loved, what more can anybody ask for?

I think she did a wonderful thing, taking this one despite knowing how it would end, and now she's gutted, elated that he got his last wish and that he didn't suffer, but at the same time in shock, missing him, mourning...

For what it's worth, I'm so damned proud of the girl! She knew how it would gut her, but she went and did it anyway, and that's fucking courage!

It's getting old, isn't it...

... this whole thing with me disappearing for long stretches of time, but I have been insanely busy, this whole thing about jumping from country to country is a pain in the neck even in Europe, now if you add California to the mix and trying to adjust to an 8 hour time difference (doing well though, 1st morning I was up at 4 am local time after 4 hours of sleep as my body was convinced it's morning, 2nd day I wake up at 7 am and only mildly dizzy).

For the comedy value of it, I could pretend to grovel for forgiveness, but to be honest, when parents and friends are going through health crisises and work beckons, blogging somehow just gets a bit less important.

Anyway, loading up with coffee while looking at the pool, spare some pity for me, because I am looking quite forward to my morning swim, ahhh how I missed that...

Sorry

I'm really sorry for the long radio silence but I've been insanely busy with life, the pets, work, paper work and all that...

Unfortunately this post isn't a very happy one (though a lot of good things have happened in the last few days), I learned that Maya Sinstress had a pretty traumatic attack, been ripped to shreds and has no insurance. It's pretty gut wretching and while I don't know her, the people who do speak highly of her, so I think that does count for something.

Check it out yourself and if you can and want to, please help!
